Sorry for the late update... Anyway on April 7 after a looooooong bus ride we arrive safely back to Singapore around 10 plus pm! Thanks for all your prayer support as we got back home safely!
Our mission team will see be praying for you guys out there in MMU! Hope to keep in touch with you guys still!

What a GOOD FRIDAY in SELANGOR!!!! by Ben (This post was possible thanks to Chee Fai who opened his hse)

Today was a huge relief for all of us. Our Easter Special and Pre-E dinner was a HUGE SUCCESS!!! Many of our contacts came. And many heard the gospel for the first time through our skit,video and testimony.
The skit was directed by Zhong Kai and Michelle,one of the highlights which was about this boy benji who has a perfectionist character. He is a design student who overworks himself and he don't really appreciate his dad. And even in school despite his teacher always praising his work. He still feel its not good enough. When he grew up he did an illegal deal to sell his design. Got drunk,started smoking and then got in a fight in a pub. He found his life was in a MESS! When he got home,he found a gift left of from his dad who passed away. And it was quite a sad skit followed by the team hoyt video. This skit and video was portraying whats true FATHER LOVE is,despite all the times benji's dad cared for him,he just ignored his dad. This is like God's Love to us, where he will always LOVE us despite some of us still ignoring him. The crowd enjoyed the skit! Could really hear their laughter during the skits!

This was followed by Zhong Kai sharing his testimony. After that we close of with a song,"Love Song For A Saviour", by Bo Chun,Jacq and Wen Hao. This song actually ministered to a lot of the people who came. The seed was planted in many of the lives of these pre-believers and really pray that it will grow in them and in the future will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. And there was one who recieved Christ on that day. PRAISED THE LORD!

GOOD FRIDAY!
Today was a full day of team evaluation. And clearing of our ROOMS! Followed by some of the CCF ppl coming down for a while, christine(CCF staff) shared her devotion. We then went with some of the CCF people to their church service at City Discipleship Presbyterian Church.

Prayer Requests to our Beloved Supporters. Part 2. By Ben and Yu Ki.

HiiieeeeEE!!! People!! Do you miss us? It's been one week and WE MISS YOU!!!

Alot had happened since the last time we updated the mission blog. A few of us fell ill but we are mostly alright. The beautiful thing is ; that we really see God moving in Selangor Multimedia University. It's really touching to see prayers about sharing God's words.
~ The students who would usually shun away with the hint of religion would actually sit down and talk openly about it. Great rapports have been built and today we are going to hold our first big event. Our Pre-Evangelistic Dinner!!!!

We want to really thank you for your continuous prayers and would hope that you will continue to partner us in this Mission to reach out the the university students through prayer. =]

Okok!! Here are the prayer points!!

We shall have thanksgiving first.

1) An encouraging visit to the Church in Selangor.

~ We had a very encouraging message which spoke to each of one of us.
~ We are very touched by what God is doing through Christians outsside of Singapore.

2) Health

~ God has taken great care of us. Gave us fair and cool weather when we need it. Protecting us from the ever thirsty mosquitoes during the nights we need rest most.

3) Ministry

~ Many good relations are built between us and the non-Christians.
~ Our Project Barnabas Event (encouraging the Christians in Selangor Multimedia Unversity) had been a great success.
~ We are having good relations with our Selangor Christians.
~ The Gospel being shared.

Here are the Prayer Requests.

1) Health !

~ Continue to pray that we can handle the harsh environment here.
~ For Joel who is developing rashes.
~ For Yu Ki (me) who is feeling unwell this morning but should have recovered by now .
~ This week will be a super packed week with Mass evangelism and Pre Evangelism Events. Pray that we will have enough rest , food and water.
~ Pray that we will continue to be spiritually healthy. Walking close to God.

2) The Pre- evangelistic Dinner Today. (6pm-9.30pm)

~ That everything will go well and strong friendships being built.
~ The Gospel being shared effectively.
~ Hearts of the Non-Christians to be open to the Gospel.
~ Hearts of the Christians to be passionated about sharing Godd's words.
~ For good attendance.

3) Evangelistic Easter Event. (7.30pm - 10pm)

~ For the event to run smoothly this Thursday .
~ For Souls to be saved.
~ Hearts of the Non-Christians to be open to the Gospel.
~ Hearts of the Christians to be passionated about sharing the Gospel.

4) Crusaders

~ Continue to stay united.
~ Strength , Wisdom and Spirit for the Final Lap.
~ Walk close to God and be a Good Testimony for Christ.

Hieee!!! We have reached our living quarters in Cyberjaya, Selangor safety on monday 4.45pm. We had to take 2 long train rides after the looooooooong bus ride from Singapore.

We will be serving in Selangor Multimedia University(MMU). A short update on what has happened so far in our mission trip. We've been getting contacts through surveys and also sharing the Gospel(Of Course..hahaz)...... Anyway, It's really HOT!!!!! here and we have to walk quite a fair bit under the HOT!!! SCORCHING!!! sun from our living quarters to the university at noon. While the mosquitoes are attacking in tsunamis at night but we are all safe and sound!!!Thank God! Even Amber and Jacqueline who arrive a day later, arrived safety. We had 143 contacts on the first day,with some manage to even share the Gospel! PRAISED THE LORD!!!
We also have been practicing playing the guitars a lot. With 4 guitars in the house! Almost eveyone wants to touch the guitars in the very limited free time!

Okkkiee!! That's enough for now. Here is our Prayer Request. Please pray fervently for us as we labour in Harvest Fields. Together we serve and glorify God!!!

Prayer Request

1) Health of the mission trippers!

- It's really tiring working in Selangor and it is really really really x 100000 HOT over here. Heard its 5 degrees celsius hotter here. UNBEARABLE! heee=D

- Pray for enough rest and for strength.

2) Protection while serving God.

- Protection from satan's schemes. Pray that God will guard us and prevent satan from preventing us from serving God effectively. Pray that we will be discerning and walk closely with God. So that we will not fall into satan's trap.

- Protection from the harsh environment. The Blazing Sun and the notoriously hardworking mosquitoes.

3) Harvest Field.

- Pray that we will see many souls saved.

- That will be able to build strong friendships and relationships with the people in the University and also that we can strike up conversations easily with them and to communicate effectivetly with them.(International students; Accent Barrier)So that we can invite them to our Evangelistic Easter Program.

- Pray that the hearts of the people in the University to be ripe for hearing God's words. Pray that we as God's warriors will have the courage and wisdom to go forth and share boldly the Gospel. Also , ask God to remove any obstacles that prevent us from sharing this good news of Jesus and that spiritual blindness will be cured.

- Pray that God will be make known to the students of Selangor Multimedia university by the end of two weeks. As a shockingly high amount of students do not even know about Easter.

4) Easter Event.

- It's held on the 5th of April . Prayer that it will be successful and many people will come to know God. Pray that nothing will go wrong but every thing going perfectly to plan.

This should be all. Please pray hard and intercede for us!

Selangor Mission Trip! Mar 26 to Apr 7, 2007

Just gonna let you readers know, that our mission team comprising of TP and RP crusaders will be going on a mission trip to a multimedia University (MMU) Selangor from Mar 26 to Apr 7, 2007.

Our mission trip team is part of the "Gen 12II" project organied by Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ. Based on Gen 12:2, where Abraham was blessed by God so that he becomes a blessing to natons, we want to be a generation that seeks to bless others as God has richly blessed us!

We will be involved in helping the campus minstry at Multimedia University (MMU), reaching out to students by sharing the gospel to them through friendship building and other evanglestic activities or events. We also hope to encourage and bless the chrsitains there durng our mission trip.
